RE Design is a sustainable design initiative that created the international award-winning upcycled plastic bags fabric called “Plastex”, aiming to raise environmental awareness on reducing and reusing plastic bags and bring back the Egyptian authentic craft of weaving. RE created "Kompakt" loom, which is a product that helps create the Eco-conscious fabric "Plastex" and empowers people to become makers.
