Empowering Flat6Labs Cairo entrepreneurs via grant funding for startups in social impact sectors, enriching the training content, business networking events, technical assistance and international exposure opportunities.

Grant Funding

Flat6Labs Cairo startups that meet predefined criteria by a designated committee are eligible to receive grant funding of up to 25,000 USD per startup who are working within the following sectors:

• Public service delivery (health, education, waste management, environment)
• Marginalised communities (products/services focused on women, elderly, the disabled, ...etc)
• Supporting poorer regions (providing products/services or company operations that target Upper Egypt, rural communities, ...etc)

Startup Bootcamps

Enhanced by a tailored and customized curriculum and with international mentors and coaching leading its delivery, the startup bootcamp is designed as an intensive workshop for each team to work on developing and testing their idea further and for us to better understand their business in more detail.  It also serves as a very important filter for identifying founders who we believe have what it takes to make it in the real world.

Business Networking Events

An annual networking event where industry leaders and corporations meet with the best of Flat6Labs Cairo startups. The event is an efficient, face-to-face professional networking model that enables participants to make new contacts through one-on-one focused conversations.

Legal Support

Legal support and on-call local lawyers who provide entrepreneurs with discounted legal consultation and intellectual property services.


International Events

Eligible Flat6Labs Cairo startups will get the opportunity to attend events and conferences abroad on a near-monthly basis, including prominent events happening across the globe.

International Roadshows

An annual international roadshow that aims to inspire a select group of Flat6Labs’ entrepreneurs to interact, learn, develop and be mentored by connecting them with the right entities abroad.

Stipends

‘StartEgypt’ will provide support for living costs of entrepreneurs that come from outside of Cairo to join the 4-month Flat6Labs Cairo acceleration cycle making it easier for all Egyptian entrepreneurs to take part in the leading startup accelerator program.
